Daylilies are long-blooming, long-lived flowers with a huge variety of colours and shapes. They are best planted in full sun, but can tolerate partial shade. They are rarely affected by disease and are not demanding of the soil, but will look much more lush and decorative in loose, fertile soil. They usually start flowering in early July and flower until mid-August. They can grow for 10 years or more in one place.
