A compact, rounded, evergreen shrub growing up to 1.5 m tall and 1 m wide. The wrinkling of the flowers makes this Blue Deckle even more special. This variety is slightly more sensitive to pH than other serratas, and blooms from pale pink to lavender in neutral soil and pale blue in acidic soil. The lacy flowers overshadow the fertile inflorescences as they are set amongst the light green leaves. Like other serratos, this variety has bright leaf colour in autumn.
