Rhododendron (azalea) Roseum Elegans is an evergreen, dense, lilac-coloured shrub. Blooms in late May-early June. It grows best in water-permeable, acidic (pH 4,5 - 6) fertile soil, in shade or partial shade. It tolerates more sun, heat and cold, but prefers partial shade. Rhododendrons do not like heat and draughts in the sun. grows up to 1.5-2.5 metres high and 2 metres wide.
