The common dill is characterised by its abundant, green foliage. The Shrub grows up to 1 m tall. Suitable for salads, soups, sauces and pickling. Dill grows best in friable, permeable, water and air permeable, weed-free soil. Dill grows poorly in shade. Germination starts at +3°C, leaf emergence at +5-8°C, the best temperature for growth is +16-18°C. Dill does not germinate well in the absence of moisture, and the foliage of the germinated Dill is fine and rough. To have dill throughout the summer, sow dill seeds every 10 days until mid-June and from 10 August to 5 September. 20 grams of seed per 10 square metres are needed. |
