Delivery methods
A tall, tuberous-rooted perennial to about 1.1m, with mid-green foliage. Large flowers, 25cm across, produced from mid-summer until the first frost, are rich red, with variable gold streaks, the long, narrow, recurved petals giving a tousled effect. Grow in full sun, in fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter and general-purpose fertiliser. Pinch out growing tips to encourage bushy plants, and stake. Water freely in dry periods.
